Day 18: Waynesville, OH to Liberty, IN (74.1 miles)

Last night’s location was about 15 miles from Waynesville, so we first rode there, and then on to Springboro, Fraklin (Ohio), Middletown, Jacksonburg, and Somerville. Prior to Middletown, we rode on the Great Miami River Recreational Trail right along the River, which was very scenic and paved. At mile 40, we entered Hueston Woods SP and had lunch at the lodge overlooking the Acton Lake. At mile 47, we entered Indiana, with no sign to tell us that. In Indiana, we visited Cottage Grove and Liberty. We camped at Whitewater State Park Campground. I even got to fish at dusk on the lake- no fish but some nice pictures.
