Day 53: Coulter Bay Village: Grand Teton National Park (0 miles)
What a fun day with my wife and sister! I got up at 5:00am to go fishing by the Jackson Lake Dam on the Snake River. Thunderstorms and lightning cut my fishing time short, but I did see a bear near the river. Morning is the time to see wildlife. I also saw elk and a coyote.
We had a nice breakfast in the cabin, then went for a 6 mile hike to Taggart and Bradley Lakes. Picture taking opportunities were everywhere! We had a nice dinner at the Frontier Grill at Lake Mountain Lodge. On the way back to the cabin, we saw a bear near the road by Oxbow Bend.
