Day 28: Recovery Day in Boonville (0 miles)

Enjoying our planned recovery day in Boonville. Started off doing laundry (yahoo!). There is nothing like clean clothes. We had lunch downtown at Maggie’s, and were able to watch the 2nd half of the WWC game between Spain & South Africa (Spain won 3-1). After a quick nap, we took a shower at the YMCA (too much detail?), and then went food shopping. Gerri and I cooked for the group tonight. The menu was pitas with seasoned ground beef, rice & beans, Greek salad, steamed broccoli and Strawberry Rhubarb pie for dessert. The crowd was pleased and full.
